Following the temporary closure of the Tiskiwin Museum after the September 2023 earthquake, the Marrakesh–Timbuktu Exhibition Gallery marks a new chapter for Bert Flint’s private collection. Curated in a beautifully restored riad by his nephew and heir Joost Flint, the gallery preserves Flint’s legacy and vision of Saharan cross-cultural dialogue. Visitors embark on a journey towards Timbuktu, exploring objects, textiles, and stories that illustrate the rich history and traditions connecting Morocco, the Sahara, and West Africa.
